FAQ's

What do you do with the left-over wax? Can I reuse or recycle the can?

When your candle is down to ¼ inch in wax, that is when you should stop burning. Left-over wax can be saved and used in candle warmers like wax melts. The best way we like to remove the wax and clean the can is to place the candle in a freezer for a few hours. Once frozen, remove from the freezer and carefully use a spoon or dull utensil to break up the wax and dump out into your warming dish. Then simply wipe down your can with warm soapy water to clean. You can toss it in your recycling or get creative and reuse around your home. These cans make great pen holders for your desk or maybe even a small flower plot.

How do I get the most out of my candle?

First, please check out our candle care and safety tips! Simply ensure you only burn your candles for a maximum of 4 hours. Any longer could lead to ANY candle burning too hot which then could lead to your wick “mushrooming” significantly that then leads to sooting (black smoke). The simplest way to prevent this is to check your wick and trim down to about ¼ inch before burning every time. Our candles may also produce “low” flames at times. This will not prevent the scent from filling your room. Contact us if you have any other burning questions.

What oils are used to create your fragrances?

We use high quality, clean synthetic fragrance oils that are made for candles and that have components of essential oils. Our fragrance oils are all free of phthalates, parabens, petroleum and are California Prop 65 compliant.
